This week we welcomed two Champions boxers to the school.
Eric Donovan was making a return visit, having gone down well with the student body at the Sports Awards in 2016, and he addressed the 1st Years at their final term assembly. Eric is a multiple amateur National champion & boasts a 7-0 record since turning professional.
As chance would have it, his former team-mate and good friend, Kenny Egan was also booked in for a visit. He spoke to TY students about motivation and resilience. Kenny won Silver at the 2008 Olympics and is also a multiple amateur National champion.
