Our 1st Years had a great day in glorious sunshine at NUIG Sportsgrounds, Dangan, Galway City today, where we took on our western cousins – St Joseph’s College (The Bish) – in Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Debating, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Rugby & Soccer.
The Bish won the Patrician Challenge Cup this year & Mr O’Leary was on hand to present the cup to fellow upcoming retiree Mr Ciaran Doyle.
Thank you to all at the Bish for the welcome & hospitality (organised by their Parents Council). We look forward to welcoming them back to Newbridge next year.
