The beginning of a new school year was celebrated in St Conleth’s Church, this morning (Tuesday September 25) in front of the whole school community.
Chief celebrant was our chaplain & Newbridge PP, Fr Paul Dempsey.
He introduced our theme for the year: S.O.S. – meaning Sleep, Outward & Spirituality. It encouraged the community to avail of sleep, to commit to an outward/outdoor/creative activity & to invest some time in spirituality.
New school Captain, Kevin Forde welcomed everyone, while new school Principal, Mr Pat Moloney wished everyone well in the year ahead, urging them to have pride in the school.
