A record breaking group of 67 Leaving Cert students received the school Gold Medal, at the Senior Cycle Gradam Acadúil ceremony, hosted by Ms Breda Disney on Wednesday May 18.
It was the first time in three years, that the awards were presented in front of an audience & it was great to see the numbers that turned out to acknowledge the achievements of our 5th & 6th Year students. A lot of plaudits though will go to the 67, who achieve a Gold Medal having been awarded a Gradam Acadúil for all 5/6 years they attend Patrician Secondary School.
Mr Pat Moloney (Principal); Mr Pat O’Leary (BOM Chairperson) & Mr Michael Roycroft were the presentation party.
LC 2021 students Ronan Healy, Patrick Flanagan & Nestor Garcia were on hand to receive their BOM awards recognising their 625 points achieved last August. Ethan Harrington was unable to attend.
Elsewhere on the night, Danny O’Sullivan was given an award for the Most Credits achieved in Senior Cycle, while there were also awards presented for Maths, Applied Maths, Irish & Debating, while 5th & 6th Year students picked up their Gradam Acadúil certificate for this academic year.
