Our aim in all years is to develop skills in all four competencies; Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

We wish to foster a love of the Modern Foreign Languges and culture and hope that all our students will be able to communicate to a high standard.

 

Richard Bruton, the Minister for Education and Skills today (04 December 2017) launched Languages Connect – Ireland’s Strategy for Foreign Languages in Education 2017-2026 and Implementation Plan 2017-2022.

This Strategy has been developed in the context of Action 1.6 of the Department’s Action Plan for Education 2016-2019which aims to enable learners communicate effectively and improve their standards of competence in languages and so fulfil our ambition to make Ireland’s education system the best in Europe within the next decade.
