On Wednesday October 11, we were presented with our 2nd Green Flag – this time for Energy.
In attendance to speak to the Green Schools Committee and the entire 1st year group, were guests Cian O’Neill (Kildare SF Manager & past pupil) and Fiona O’Loughlin (T.D. for Kildare South). Following the brief talk, the group ventured to the front gates to watch proudly, as their efforts were rewarded with the flag flying high for all of Newbridge to see.
Special mention must go to Ms Mulvey, Ms Whelan and Ms Hegarty for their work with the students.
