Students are reminded that if they are applying to attend the Higher Education institutions: Cork I.T., I.T. Carlow, I.T. Tralee, U.C.C. or W.IT. that applications for the the 1916 Bursary Fund is now open.
It was established by the Department of Education and Skills to encourage the participation and success of students most socio-economically disadvantaged and from within groups significantly under-represented in higher education; it offers an annual bursary of €5,000 to successful applicants. The cluster will award 35 bursaries in 2020/2021.
