The AEN department within the Patrician Secondary School strives to ensure that pupils with additional educational needs are catered for in an inclusive and supportive environment.
We provide the following support services:
- Supporting students in small groups where students can avail of physical sensory, literacy, numeracy, social skills and behaviour support
- Liaising with Primary Schools to ensure that the transition of pupils with additional needs from Primary to Secondary School is smooth
- Providing student support file for each student
- Regular contact with parents
- Meeting with school psychologist (NEPS) and other external agencies
