In Gardening Club this year, we planted peas, garlic, and lots of flowers. Throughout the year, we met every single Friday during lunch to plant our vegetables and flowers, and also make plans for trips. Gardening Club has been such a success this year that we have a junior and senior group.
We have our annual bake sale every October, and it was an amazing success. This helped us to raise money and go on a trip to Dublin Zoo last year. We had an amazing time; we had time to roam around and then we went to design our own habitats. We learned about how animals need food, water, space, and greenery. We loved the zoo so much that we are going back again at the end of this school year, and we are all super excited.
While we planted garlic, flowers, and peas, we also started a new project: having a wormery. We look forward to painting the wormery box and making our own compost.
We would like to thank Ms. Brown and Ms. Maloney for the fun year we had; we are so grateful for the fun we had and we are so grateful for them.
