This years's school musical in collaboration with the Holy Family secondary school was the 'Fiddler on the Roof'.
Fiddler on the Roof is a musical set in the small, traditional Jewish village of Anatevka, Russia, around 1905, focusing on the life of Tevye, a poormilkman, and his family.The main conflict revolves around Tevye's struggle to maintain his family's Jewish traditions in the face of changing social dynamics and increasing anti-Semitic persecution by the Russian authorities
This year production was a resounding success with outstanding performances from Mannix McNeill, Nicole Driver, Cian Kavanagh, Róise Carroll, Dylan Yeremchuk, Sarah Burke, Ross Walker, Darcey O'Neill, Seamus Burke, Ava Hogan, Siena Ryan, Zoe O'Reilly Fleming, Laura O'Brien, Jack Sex, Claire McGrath, Eabha Moore, Cian Smith, Oskar Granaghan, Ciara Metcalfe, Carla Monaghan, Maja Chodup and Jamie Callaghan. Many other students were fantastic as a chorus and behind the scenes.
Kate O'Dea directed and produced with Áine Loughran as musical director, and Deirdre Browne as choregrapher. A team of teachers and staff supported the show in both front of house and back stage.
